Osama Where Are You?
It has been seven years since the 911 attacks. Since that time Osama Bin Laden has been the most hunted man in the history of this planet -- there is absolutely no one else who has come close. The figures are certainly classified, but how many tens of billions of dollars and hundreds of thousands of man-hours have been spent on this effort? Can anyone doubt that every piece of high-tech equipment known to Government is available for this effort? Can anyone doubt that the most elite intelligence personnel and the most elite military units available are deployable to find this person? Has any bounty hunter or traitor to Al-Qaeda failed to have heard of the reward for capturing or killing Osama? Seven years – NOTHING! As someone who makes a living by following abnormalities to their conclusion, I feel there is something that is out of place here.
Who was put in charge of finding Bin Laden? They had one job. They have failed. Why haven’t they been fired in public and someone else put in charge? Why has this replacement not been fired? Have there been any consequences to anyone for not finding this man? Why not?
On the other hand, who has benefited by the non-capture or death of Bin Laden? Well that list is very lengthy. The military (except those unfortunates killed, wounded or mentally traumatized), every defense contractor, every Government agency, and everyone in Government who believes in Power, the glory of the State, and subversion of the individual to the control of State has benefited. Without Bin Laden they would have lost their great Evil with which to mesmerize the masses. Without Bin Laden the justification for the entire string of Executive prerogatives over the last seven years would have been lost.
Today, I have no facts on which to base my uneasiness. I have nothing more than the ability to ask questions, that too bothers me. How does anyone in today’s world get any answers from the Government? Government hides everything, in layers of secrets, behind tangles of bureaucracy. Any attempt to find the truth is always denied. Your rulers may not be questioned.
So the truth, whatever it is, remains veiled. My only option is to continue to pay for these multiple Wars on Terror, on Iraq, on Afghanistan, on Bin Laden, and upon American Liberties or else become another victim of the State. Is this what being an American means today?
