Peace – Apparently not in My Lifetime or Anyone Else’s.

It’s true. No one who was alive after the beginning of World War II has ever lived in peace, the United States has been continuously embroiled in direct conflict, police actions, covert military operations, CIA sponsored revolutions and operations ever since 1941.

It is ironic that the United Nations, the organization created by the United States and its allies, forbids in its charter, any nation from engaging in aggressive wars. Yet, since the end of WWII the US Government has had its military-covert operation forces in action in well over 50 nations.  In each case the existence of a direct threat to the United States is hard to imagine and in every case the United States initiated hostilities.

In the late 1940s when the War Department was laughingly renamed the Department of Defense there was China, Italy and Greece. In the 1950s it was Korea, the Philippines, Eastern Europe, Iran, Syria, and the Mid-East (not for the last time). The 1960s brought Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Haiti, Cuba, the Congo, Indonesia, Chile and others. The 70s, due to public reaction to the disasters in Southeast Asia was a little quieter, with US meddling and invasions down to a few places like Zaire, Iraq, Angola, and Jamaica. Once the 1980s came, things got back to a more normal tempo with invasions and operations in countries such as Grenada, Morocco, Libya, Afghanistan (Part I), Nicaragua, and Panama. The 1990s with the fall of the Soviet Union, gave the US Government an unconstrained field of operations so it was Phase 1 of the 30-year War on our old ally Iraq. Then don’t forget Somalia (Blackhawk Down), Yugoslavia and Eastern Europe.

The current century has seen the ultimate fruition of US aggression across the globe. After 9-11 there was Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iraq (Part II with Part III just starting), Yemen, Somalia, Uzbekistan, Kurdistan, Lebanon, Egypt, Syria, the Ukraine, and Qatar for starters. In addition there have been cyber-attacks upon other nations, drone attacks anywhere the President felt like killing someone, and total war by the NSA, FBI and CIA upon the private communications, financial transactions, and lives of individuals both within and beyond the borders of the United States. In short, the Government of the United States believes and acts as if everyone and everything on this planet is their property and subject to their control – violations of this premise can result in punishments up to and including death – without review or due process of the law.

Is this state of affairs the reason the founding generation fought a War of Independence? Was the Constitution written to allow the enslavement of the People of the United States and the rest of the World? Did the Declaration of Independence free us from King George III only to put us under the yoke of President George III, Barack Obama and whoever follows? Is the entire energy of our Nation and the People now totally controlled by those who sit in Power in the holy city of Washington DC? Was it ever intended that in its search for World dominiation, that the Government of the United States was free to create more debt upon its People than any nation in history – in fact more than all the nations in history combined?

And what about the casualties of the US Government’s foreign entanglements since WWII? How many young Americans have died? How many more have returned home either physically disabled or mentally scarred for life? What about the $100 billion dollars a year spent to treat these veterans. What’s more, what about the hundreds of thousands of people who have died as a direct result of US actions in their countries? What about the millions of people who have fled their homes and countries to escape the collapse of their societies due to US military actions or the CIA's covert operations? Who cares for them?

What’s more, put yourself in the position of someone in a mid-Eastern country who has lost a wife, children, and family due to the US Government – what would you be thinking about? Picture yourself as a young man or woman who has spent the last 10 years sweltering in a refugee camp because the US Government killed your family – what would you be thinking about? Now take that one person and multiple by the hundreds of thousands – can you feel their hatred – can you understand their one consuming desire to seek revenge upon those who created this hell for them? Is this what America has come to represent to the rest of the world - a massive tyrant? Is this the nation you want to leave for your children and grandchildren?

When will it end? When will the People of the United States rise up and reclaim their nation for themselves? When will America return to the Philosophy upon which the nation was founded and once again become the most admired Nation on the Earth instead of the most hated?

It is time for the 2nd American Revolution.
